Sir, I need to design a high speed electromechanical pneumatic valve with 1 mS response time. The electrical specification of the valve is 15v-35v, 200mA, 1mS ON/OFF delay.

For the specified voltage rating i have placed a regulator first. Because the coil will operate with 12v pulsated DC supply only. The dc resistance of the coil is 37E and the inductance 48mH.

To reduce the driving current of the coil, i decided to give 100khz pulsated DC supply to the coil. The coil [electromagnet] is operating under the specified current rating for 100khz.

Now i need a low cost square wave generator IC and it should be very low power on settling time [in micro seconds]. I have attached the block diagram of this valve.

I need lot of quantities so low cost is must. So the circuit2 is very useful for me.

Take a look at the DRV104, this is a device that would implement your circuit 2 and generates it's own PWM (square wave) to drive the coil with a simple logic input enable line.

Sir, thanks for your immediate response. I am fully satisfied with this IC and i found another device DRV103 and it is enough for me and i decided to proceed with this....

Please note that the DRV103 is listed as NRND - 'Not Recommended for New Designs', you might want to consider the DRV101 or DRV102 instead.

Hi, sorry i didn't read your reply for long time.

Can you tell me why this IC is NRND?... Is there any bug in this IC or its going to be obsolete module!.
Now i have this IC in my hand. I really link this IC more then DRV104, because this is SO-8 and very easy to design.
DRV104 is also compact but the pin count is more and the pad pitch is very closer for hand soldering.
I always like to design with DRV103U if there are no major problem.....,

hello sir i read your mail about square wave generator. Will you please suggest me IC for multi frequency sine wave generator actually i want to design a bioelectrical measurement equipment for segmental measurement of human body at different frequency plz guide me.
