DRV2605: DRV2605 ERM mode

Part Number: DRV2605

Hi TI,

Product Use DRV2605, use ERM mode drive rotor motor.(The motor specification: rated voltage 2.7V, max voltage 3.2V)

Test:

1. Register 0x16 set as 0x6c(rated voltage 2.3V), Register 0x17 set as 0x75(max voltage 2.5V), waveform is as follows:

AC signal positive voltage 2.8V, negative voltage 1.7V.

Duty cycle: 19.6/(19.6+29.4)=40%

PWM: 20.4kHz

2. Register 0x16 set as 0x7e(rated voltage 2.7V), Register 0x17 set as 0x96(max voltage 3.2V), waveform is as follows:

AC signal positive voltage 1.3V, negative voltage 3.0V.

Duty cycle: 35.2/(35.2+12.8)=73.3%

PWM: 20.8kHz

Question:

By testing, the phenomenon seems abnormal. What is normal phenomenon? Many thanks.
