DRV2604: DC output setting

Dear Expert,

We are using ERM type vibration motor and DRV2604 haptic driver.

If we just need a DC voltage waveform on motor side ( OUTP – OUTN = 3.0 V ) , do you know how to set the register by I2C command ?

Or how to adjust the amplitude when PWM output ( OUTP – OUTN = PWM signal ) ? thanks.

Hello,

There is a very helpful tool here for determining the register settings.

This amplifier is a class-d amplifier, so there will always be 20 kHz switching on the output. The motor will filter this and just see the DC voltage.
