TPS563202: Control Mode

Hi team,

I see that the control mode of TPS563202 is D-CAP2, but according to 7.3.1 Adaptive On-Time Control and PWM Operation, this control mode is like COT mode.

I think the D-CAP2 mode should be as follows.

Another question is the on-timer. This one shot duration is set proportional to the converter input voltage, VIN, and inversely proportional to the output voltage, VO, to maintain a pseudo-fixed frequency over the input voltage range. I think on duration should be inversely proportional to the converter input voltage, VIN, and proportional to the output voltage, VO. What do you think?

1. TPS563202 is indeed the D-CAP2 mode control, it just move the ripple injection circuit into IC internal. Attach an article about internal ripple injection for your interest. https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=5744789&tag=1
