TPS2373-4EVM-758: D31 and D37 Difference

Hello,

Why are D31/D37 different parts on TPS2373-4EVM? MMSD4148T1G vs MMSD914T1G? Any reason the same part can’t be used in both places? I assume these were chosen over the BAS316 also in the design for slightly higher power rating?

    Hi Michael, 

    I looked at the specs and they are identical so there is no issue if you use the same device for D31 and D37. 

    BAS316 is needed for higher power rating in D33/D35/D36 because it is providing power to the bias rail whereas D31/D37 are part of the logic to drive the FET so we expect it to be lower power.
