TPS659037: NRND of TPS6590376

Hello Power Management team,

A customer is having a problem with their board after hundreds of days of running. They're suspecting it has something to do with power stability which points to the TPS6590376.

The TPS6590376 is now NRND, but I can't find the reason why.

Will moving to the TPS6590378 potentially fix their problem? Is this part a drop in replacement?

Hi Darren,

The differences between TPS6590376 and TPS6590378 can be found in the TPS659037 User's Guide to Power AM574x, AM572x, and AM571x. If the differences between part numbers will work in their system then TPS6590378 should be a drop in replacement.

I cannot say if changing the devices will solve their issues without more information about what issues they are seeing. Do they have any scope shots of what is happening?
