for TPS23754 5V/5A output design.

1. Could this design supports Vout to 5V/5A by using forward converter?

      - the customer would like to use the forward topology to design output 5V/5A .

2.  Which part need to modify? ex : transformer or feedback resistor?

    Hi Denny,

     

    Thank you for your question.

     

    The TPS23754 is able to support active clamp forward (ACF) for 5V/5A.

    I recommend PMP5818 reference design which uses the TPS23754 in 5V/5A in ACF topology.

     

    In addition I recommend taking a look at the next gen device of the TPS23754, the TPS23734, which can also be used in ACF for 5V/5A.

    I recommend TPS23734EVM-094 design which is 5V/5A ACF topology design.
