You mean the RC on pin-3 Vin, if so, yes I did try 1uF(C303) is better but still high inrush current.

The current situation will not affect the function, just want to know if it will damage the IC.

not. I said to control open rate of the PFET to control the power supply slope rate of the power supply for the boost.

it seem the current through the inductor is 1.5A? it would be good if we can reduce the current to 0.5A level.

there are also around 2A inrush from simulate(Ti Web)，does this mean this is normal? any other concern?

Hi Eechaw,

the issue is caused by the high du/dt in the VIN because of using ideal power supply. the input current will be Cin*du/dt. the behavior in real world will be difference.

this is the situation that I face now, that is 2 AAA batteries in our Vin, and the 2 AAA was provided sufficient current on this application.
the function is work well, I just want to check your ti viewpoint

did the issue happen when the battery is firstly connected to the boost?

if so, could you measure the inductor current at this period? the current flowing through the device is the inductor current. (i assumed that it is not the same case reported by Li Chen)
