We are currently using the linear voltage regulator TPS7A8101 to clean-up analog power supplies. The noise reduction capacitor and the bypass capacitor are 470 nF like recommended in the datasheet. The start-up time is about 80 ms because the noise reduction capacitor is 470 nF.
I would like to use the TPS7A8101 to supply some digital components. I don’t need a low noise supply for those components but I would like to have a more faster start-up time (about 1 ms).
Is the TPS7A8101 work properly with no noise reduction capacitor and no bypass capacitor? If not, what are the minimum value?
