Hello,

We've a PCB design powered by a TPS40304 buck controller.

We are considering to replace it by TPS40304A, but I don't have clear the differences... The only differences I found on technical datasheets are temperature range (-40º to 125º on TPS40340 and -40º to 145º on TPS40304A) and voltage reference (600mV on TPS40304 and 591mv on TPS40304A).

Am I missing any difference ?

No, those are the differences between the TPS40304 and the TPS40304A.

The TPS40304A was designed and released to provide feedback compatibility with the earlier TPS4019x family of devices, which also used a 0.591V reference voltage while providing additional high-temperature margin for applications requiring high current at high ambient temperatures.
