Hello Guys,

Good day.

Our customer have clarification regarding the output voltage of UCC5870QDWJEVM-026.

In the datasheet it says: Driver output voltages by default are +15V/-8V with 12-V input supply.
For IGBTs customer will need +15V/-10V and for SiC Mosfets +20V/-5V. How can they adjust the output voltage of the evaluation board to meet this?

    Hi Art,

    The isolated bias power supply on the EVM is designed for +15/-8V only. For the low side driver, customer has the option to connect external power supply for VCC2, VEE2 directly(not connecting the 12V power supply). But this will be for low side only. If customer wants to use both high side and low side drivers with a different VCC2/VEE2 voltage, a transformer with different turns ratio will be needed for T1 and T2.
