TPS2660: Operation without voltage clamp

Hi,

we designed the TPS26600 into our circuit but due to current part shortages are unable to use that part variant. We were wondering can we use the TPS26602 and disable the voltage clamp somehow so that it can still operate at 48V? The datasheet isn't explicitly clear.

    Hi Garth,

    Thanks for reaching out to us and your interest on TPS2660x. The overvoltage clamp functionality can't be disabled for TPS26602. Hence, it can't operate at 48 V input.
