TLV62595: TLV62595 Softstart

Part Number: TLV62595

Hey Expert,

While testing power-on behavior on TLV62595, we found two steps voltage when Vout is closed to target voltage.

The symptom occurs not only on single rail but also different voltage settings which include 1.1V, 1.2V, and 2.2V.

The power-on curve is different than what we see on datasheet.

Thanks

  • Hi Jim,

Is this an issue for your system?

Can you add the PG signal to the waveform?

Is an electronic load used during this test?  Can you try without the electronic load?  They frequently misbehave during startup tests.

Your waveform looks different from the D/S simply because the V/div scale is different.  You can't see this type of detail on the D/S waveforms.
