Hi,

I work with LTSPICE .

Somehow when I download unencrypted SPICE Models and transfer them into the LTSPICE it doesn't work.

I mean creating symbol by all LTSPICE rules and placing it into design.

There are some components that works like: LM5035C, INA168, INA201, but almost all comp. ( 90% ) doesn't work.

I would like to get some opinion about this problem.

Hi Michael,

Please provide a part name whose model does not work.

Most of TI SPICE models comply with generic SPICE syntax and all SPICE compatible simulators should be able to understand them.

Hi Michael,

I didn't look at TPS61046. The other 3 models are encrypted for PSpice so you cannot open it with other SPICE compatible simulators. I'll move it to the corresponding products' forums for followup.

Hi JC,

Because of NDA between the companies I got all these models as undecrypted from TI Technical Support.

LTSPICE Transfer I may performance only with opened models.

Hi Michael,

please share the application detail. these devices are simple, so simulation is not always required.

and why can't you use pspice for TI?

Hi Michael,

Got it. the unencrypted model can be released in the device folder, but i don't why they doesn't work in LTSPICE. I had not used LTSPICE before.

as I said, these devices are simple. simulation is not required for most the time
