Hi team,

I got a question from customer.

The customer is testing Battery charging IC.EVM default setting.
It's charging time so long(6H).
Fastcharge Current Regulation Phase is so short(10 minutes)

Please help to analyze it.

    Hello,

    Can you please explain your setup more? What is the battery voltage? What voltage does the battery start at? Is your TS pin biased correctly? Please provide information about all of the jumpers?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Customer feedback:

    Another problem arose.
    Battary termination current setting value is 0.3A, Power supply voltage is 5V, Battery voltage is 4.35V, Battery charging current is about 0.7A.
    After Power Supply was power off, and then Power supply re-ON, I can't do recharging battery and All LED of EVM board is turn off state.
    I don't understand this state, Why EVM board is not working.

    Hello,

    Can you please check the /PG pin when this is happening? If it is pulled high that means there is an invalid VCC. I suspect the problem is that you do not have enough headroom between the output of your converter and your input. Please see our recommendation in the BQ24610 datasheet in Section 11 "Power Supply Recommendations." You may need to increase your input voltage.
