TPS61099: Can add a capacitance in typical circuit?

Hi Team,

The input is about 3.8V and the output is 4.2V. As the follow picture, if add a capacitance, will it effect the output? Can I add this capacitance?

    Hi Gust,

    You can add this capacitor, but be careful of the phase margin. This capacitor will effect loop bandwidth and phase margin, typically this capacitor is not needed for TPS61099 because IC is designed to have good loop stability and phase margin.
