BQ24079T: DPPM and supplement mode Vout at low Vin

Greetings,

Hope all are safe. In BQ24079T as shown in waveform below. What is the adapter Vin voltage for this? What would the waveform be like for Vin of 4.4V?

    Hi Privthi,

    As Vout is 5.5V intitially, VIN meets the criteria for VOUT to be 5.5V. For the BQ24079T this is about 5.8 V.

    If VIN is 4.4V, you will most likely see the DPPM Loop active and beyond as the Output follows the input if it is not within range for the output to be 5.5V when powered by the input.
