I would like to ask several questions regarding the TIDC-SMARTPLUG-WIFI Link: https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDC-SMARTPLUG-WIFI#supportandcommunity

1: Are we able to purchase the product?

2: the BOM file contain a custom transformer T1, could you please provide an alternative P/N in order to use for this reference design?

3: Does the design work with non polarized plugs like Japanese plugs?

4: Is the device isolated? in the schematic i found R24 which connect GND to neutral_in. could that cause any problems?

Hi,

The TIDC-SMARTPLUG-WIFI design is not available for purchase in a fully assembled state. You will need to use the provided design files to create your own PCB, obtain the components listed in the BOM and assemble it on your own.

I am looping in a team member from the HW team who can answer your other questions.

Hello,

I think it's a little difficult to purchase all the components as some of them are mentioned as custom parts. So i think it will be much easier if you could provide any alternative components for those one for example the transformer.
