TPS564201: Voltage Drop

Hi,

I am using TPS564201 IC. Input: 12V, Output: 5V. It's said in the datasheet, I'm using a 3.3uH coil. Model number of the coil SRP7050AA-3R3M.

When I load 1A from the 5V, there is a voltage drop of 0.5V. (output voltage 4.5~4.6V)

What is the reason?

Hi Samet,

Where did you measure output voltage? It's suggested to measure output voltage on C46. If you did measure output voltage on C46, please show me SW waveforms.

Hi,

I'm measuring the output voltage from the coil.

SW waveforms, These measurement on C46. Where it falls, the load is activated.

Could you double check what's the input current limit of power supply?
