BQ75614-Q1: Migration from BQ76PL455A-Q1 Architecture

Dear TI team,

At present, i am using BQ76PL455A-Q1 in my design. In our architecture AFE and MCU(3.3V) runs on Same ground. 

As per BQ76PL455A-Q1 AFE recommendation we have tied VIO pin of AFE to 3V3 to interface to MCU(3.3V) 

But, in BQ75614-Q1 i dont see any recomondation if MCU operating voltage is 3.3V.

Datasheet Says:  The CVDD=5V LDO is the supply for the I/O pins (RX, TX, NFAULT, and GPIOs). CVDD pin is will have a similar voltage as the LDOIN pin through internal circuit in order to support WAKE detection

1)How to interface BQ75614-Q1 with MCU(3.3V) directly through UART . Both AFE & MCU runs on same Ground in our concept. 

2) It seems VOLTAGE TRANSLATOR is the only option to interface, but we are looking for simplest architecture
