BOOSTXL-TPS65218: HELP! I can not get the boostxl-tps65218 working with the GUI.

Hi,

We bought a BOOSTXL-TPS65218 with MSP430F5529-LP to program some TPS65218DO and TPS65216 for prototype production.

I am not a software engineer, just want to program some parts.

I have tried to follow the BOOSTXL-TPS65218 EVM User's Guide instruction 2.4 "SOFTWARE" and 2.5 "Update MSP430F5529 Firmware"  but the link to get the file MSP430_USB_Firmware_Upgrade_Example-1.3.1.1-Setup.exe does not work. I have tried to use the MSP430Ware_3_80_13_03_setup.exe dev tool instead  but i do not know how to use it or even how to open it (no icon or executable), i CAN NOT SEE AN APP TO OPEN.

When i try to use the IPG-UI, it does not detect it probably because the MSP board has not been updated with the latest USB2ANY_2.7.0.0_LP.txt yet.

Could someone help? how to upgrade the msp430.. with USB2ANY_2.7.0.0_LP.txt  if i don't have access to MSP430_USB_Firmware_Upgrade_Example-1.3.1.1-Setup.exe fiole?
