TPS55288EVM-045: Evaluation board issue

May I know how you test the EVM in the first time? Did you use a bench power supply and electronic load?

Yes, I have a current limited power supply, and electronic load for bench testing.

To be clear, the board was not on these units when it stopped functioning, but I did have data recording occurring at the time, so that's how I know the final condition.

What do you mean the board was not on these units?

Could you share the final Vin/Vout/Iout condition?

You could apply for TPS55288 samples on ti.com and replace it. Or contact TI FAE for help.

What I meant by that statement was when the board stopped working, it was not attached to the electronic load, or the bench power supply.

I will look into changing the controller.  I guess I can test the on board mosfets when the controller is removed.

The final Vin was 14, Vout was 10.8, and Iout was 2.966A.

I had a thermal camera on the unit around this time, and had no concerning temperature measurements.

14Vin, 10.8Vout, 2.966A should be a quite normal working condition. I cannot think of any possible reason that the device fails.
