TPS7A83A: Stability when connect large capacitive load

Hello Expert,

My customer is considering to use TPS7A8300A for their products.
Then, they want to know about whether this device work stably when we connect 2000uF on output side.
Could you tell me maximum capacitive load of this device or whether this device can work with such a large capacitor?

Hi Kazuki,

The TPS7A8300A should work with these capacitors. It is defined to be stable with10uF of effective capacitance or greater on the output. The customer can use an EVM, attach their specific load capacitance to the output, and perform a load transient to determine the stability by using this App Note.

I get it that this device only have minimum output capacitor from the point of view of stability and customer can use with 2000uF.
