Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24073,
Hi, TI support Team
The customer is reviewing the BQ24232 product due to the delivery date issue of BQ24073.
Please inquire about setting of ITERM pin.
Currently, the ITERM pin part of the PCB is connected to GND.
On the datasheet, it is designed to adjust the termination current by connecting an external resistor.
The pin description states that 10% of the termination current is set in the floating state.
So, how does it work if it is connected to GND?
And does the following current value in Electrical Spec represent the current consumed during charging?
Isn't it consumed when charging is complete?
Please provide as detailed an explanation as possible.
Not consuming current in standby is what customers want.
We are currently in a situation where we need to review and select urgently, so please respond as soon as possible.
