Hi Team,
I find the description in E2E forum that difference Output discharger when EN is low, Now, I want to know the difference when EN is high?
Thank you!
Here is a link to the difference between the devices. Link
yes, i check that link and I want to know the difference when the EN pin is High.thank you!
When the EN is high, the device starts switching and the discharge is off for both devices. The differences in soft start, ovp, and ocp are outlined in the table when enabled.
The TPS53515A and TPS53515 are the same device except for the trim option changes shown here in Link.
If the ovp, ocp response difference is acceptable and the difference soft start time acceptable, i do not see a risk
Hi Danlels,
I see the mode soft start different between TPS53515 and TPS53515A, but I don't find any thing about this at their datasheet, so could you please how to understand this item?
Best regards,
Andy Liu
The TPS53515 is in skip mode during startup see table 4 below.
The TPS53515A is always FCCM mode.
Hi Danlels,
Both TPS53515 and TPS53515A table 4, I find "device goes into forced CCM(FCCM) after PGOOD becomes high", is there an error?
Best regards,
Andy
