Thank you for sharing your question on E2E.

May I know the added load current? Please note TPS61379-Q1 cannot startup properly with heavy load.

the load current is 0.1A; I enable the en PIN, it will sink a large current and to lead the pre-regulator is over current and the pre-regulator can supply 0.5 A current;I don't know why,please help! thanks !

this cricuit is output 12V, so i add 1k load , the current is 12ma; it can not work normarlly; change the resistor from 1k to 10k;the output is ok ; the load current is 1.2ma; is it the inductor small?

Hi Terry,

During startup, the TPS61379-Q1 starts switching and needs energy to charge the Cout to setting output voltage.

Since this device cannot startup with heavy load, please run the startup test with no load.

For the inductor value, it's recommended to use a 1uH or 1.5uH inductance for this application.
