REF2030: How can I drive multiple op amp using the voltage reference

Part Number: REF2030

Hi,

I implemented a multi stage amplifier for current sensing as shown in below.

With battery source, the circuit was operated well in the simulation

However, when I used the voltage reference to supply 1.5V to every op amp, the circuit became saturated like below picture.

How can I fix the problem with the ref2030?

Is the voltage reference unable to drive those op amps?

Thank you.

  • Hi Yunsik,

It may be a simulation artifact. Try putting a 10k load on both of the outputs of the REF2030. Also probe the 1.5V, 3V and VIN (of the reference) to see how those look. Let me know if that clears the problem.

Looking at your op amp gain circuit, I see some problems that will probably keep this circuit from working as intended. If you would like, I can help you design that portion. Let me know if you would like to take this offline and we can email from there.

  • Hi, Tony,

I tried putting a 10k load on both of the outputs of the REF2030.

But it didn't clear the problem.

    The output became saturated.

I'm glad to get your help with circuit design.
