LP2995: Can the LP2995 be used for SD RAM DDR4 termination?

Is using a voltage divider on the Vref sufficient? Are there any other considerations to take into account?

What is the difference between the LP2995 and the TPS51200? (TPS51200 is out of stock).

This is a termination voltage for Micron 8Gb: x4, x8, x16 DDR4 SDRAM, MT40A512M16.

Hi Dor,

Yes, LP2995 can be used for DDR4 termination. You don't need external divider, just connect VDDQ voltage to VDDQ pin.

Compared to LP2995, TPS51200 has Enable pin and PGOOD output, and use VDDQ as LDO input voltage instead of VIN.

Another option is TPS51206, which can also be used for DDR4 termination.
