Dear David Baba

In the past you suggest me to use the dc to dc converter LM73605RNPT

I design with it and get very good result.

Now the project is at production floor and purchase department meet great difficulties to buy it and also price arise to more than 50 $.

CAN YOU HELP US TO BUY IT.

Can you suggest replacement part with similar features (may be same pinout) and most important feature : stability in ground noise .

Please consider the LM61460 as an alternative device that will meet your existing specification.

Yes unfortunately, we are currently having a backorder on some of our parts.

Based on availability, the parts below maybe comparable, but efficiency would be lower since it is a non synchronous device

1.please from your experience can you compare features between the 2 components.

2.Also can you suggest design circuit for parameters :

input : 24 volt ,output : 12 volt , I load average : 2a max:4a

Hi Pascal,

The biggest difference between the two parts is efficiency since the LM73605 is a synchronous device which means it operates with a High Side and Low Side MOSFET, whereas the TPS54561 is a non-synchronous device which means that you need to external diode instead of Low Side MOSFET.

Other than that, both devices have similar features, such as adjustable frequency, soft-start, synchronizable, etc.
