TPS92662A-Q1: DSTR Pin Function

Part Number: TPS92662A-Q1

Hi, We are using TPS92662A part in our application.  in this datasheet DSTR pin is given to decide the Drive strength of TX, SYNC and CLK pins. here Drive strength means is it a Drive strength current ? I want to use this chip with CAN transceiver (TJA1044 ) . In the TPS datasheet VOL for 20% drive strength setting it is given as 1.01V. suppose if i add 22Kohm resistor at the TXD pin with 5V supply will this logic low output voltage come down ?  and If i change the drive strength setting will it have any change in the output drive current values  (IOH /IOL) ?

Thanks
