Hi Aaron,
Components carrying the "883" suffix are screened to higher environmental, mechanical and electrical standards necessary to meet Mil-Std-883. The "B" following "883" indicates this device is screened to Mil-Std-883, class level "B", military class. Thanks for connecting through E2E. Understanding Quality Levels for HiRel-rated Components and Upscreening of Class B Microcircuits for Space Applications are two excellent TI references offering more detailed explanation about our quality and screening process for 883 military and space components.
