Hi,

In a few of my designs TI's TPS62842 is used. However, as we all know, there are big problems in the market.

As the component is "Out of Stock" I am looking for a replacement of the TPS62842. Following chracteristics:

Input: 3.3 - 3.7(V)
Low power Iq
At least 500mA
Output 3.0(V)

Any suggestions for other TI components (which are in stock)

Thanks for posting your queries.

You can check on TPS62840, which has the same core design as TPS62842 but in a different package (available in SON-8 or WCSP package). All the features available in TPS62842 are present in TPS62842 as well. You might want to evaluate its functionality in the meantime while waiting for TPS62842EVM-103 stock.

Hello Excel,

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately the TPS62840 is also out of stock (expected in 2022 - which is too long for our projects).

It seems that we need to do a redesign and replace these TI components.
