TPS3828-Q1: About way of disable of Watchdog Timer (WDI)

Hi Team,

We would like to disable Watchdog Timer(WDI) arbitrarily.

We understand that we must WDI pin goes to High impedance to disable Watchdog Timer (WDI).

Then, we have two questions.

--------

[Q1]

What is the definition of high impedance?

(For example, WDI pin is more than 10MΩ etc.)

[Q2]

We would like to know about way of disable of Watchdog Timer (WDI)

(For example, connect MOSFET between WDI pin and I/O pin of MUC(System side) etc.)

Could you please let us know if you have a recommended way?

  • Hi Hide-san,

Please see my response below in red:

High impedance means the pin is floating or the pin is connected in series with a FET.  I would recommend 10MΩ or higher.
