TPS61500: LED driver IC for 7inch LCD display

What I get from the spec is that you need to driver totally 290mA current (or 4 paralleling LED strings for totally 290*4= 1160mA?) and boost the voltage to VIN+19.2V, right? The inductor value could be referred to datasheet table 4. Normally, small inductance value is suitable for high frequency.

If you only need 290mA, I think 4.7uH to 22uH are all OK. And you could take a look of TPS92360, which is also a single channel LED driver with smaller current capability, and of course much lower cost.

Sorry that there is no simulation model for TPS61500. For the schematic you could refer to the EVM board.

can you confirm can we use TPS61500 driver for our application. Is 4.7uH inductor is sufficient to our application. As per evaluation board. we want to used coupled inductor of 4.7uH.

Yes TPS61500 is OK for your application and 4.7uH inductor is also OK. For detail inductor selection, you could refer datasheet section 8.2.1.2.5.
