BQ40Z50-R2: Use Lithium ion battery but turn on the LFP_RELAX bit.

Hello Sir:

We are using BQ40z50-R2 and use NCR18650GA Lithium ion battery.

If we turn on the [LFP_RELAX] bit, what kind of side effect we will get?

Or it's OK, no side effects on our application.

Please help to provide recommendations for us.

    Statham,

    LFP_RELAX only has an impact if the ChemID being used is a 4XXX or 04XX ID. LiFeP04 cells require a much longer wait to reach a state of OCV. So this bit will change the gauge timeout from 5 hours to 48hours. 

    If the ChemID is not a 4 series then nothing will happen.
