TPS61099: TPS610997 as a Substitute for TPS61099

Part Number: TPS61099

Hi Team,

We want to evaluate TPS610997 (fixed 5V) to P2P replace the adjustable TPS61099 in a 5V rail.

The datasheet recommends we tie FB to GND, but the internal block diagram suggests that the external FB network should have no impact due to the internal switch.

Can we leave the output resistor divider network that we use for the adjustable TPS61099 when we populate TPS610997 instead of trying to short it to GND? Any concerns if we leave the external FB network in place?

This other E2E post doesn't explicitly confirm this, but seems to suggest it would be ok, so wanted to double check.

Thanks for the help here.
