Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z60, BQSTUDIO
Hi there, I am experiencing a similar behavior to a previous post which was not resolved ( https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/929621/bq40z60-not-waking-up-anymore )
My BQ40Z60 has worked without issue until recently, when upon plugging in the battery and pressing the wake-up button (connecting battery to VAC), the board is non-responsive.
I have found that I can make the board startup again by entering BQStudio (forced entry by selecting model since board isn't recognized) and reading the firmware. Subsequent startups after this are also successful.
This appears to be related to temperature - it will only happen on a cold morning and I have replicated the issue by putting the board in the fridge for some time.
Is this expected behavior for a given firmware configuration?
Cheers
