Dear sir,
May I know what is the current sink capability of the BQ24133 STAT PIN?
Instead of sourcing the voltage from VREF, it is planned to use the VIN of 15Volts.
thank you

Hello,
We recommend a 10 kOhm pullup to the power rail, and our application schematic recommends a 1.5 kOhm pullup to VREF. Please base your decisions based on those recommendations.

Hi!
If we use 10Kohm pullup to the power rail, the current is so small that it may not light up the LED.
in BS24133 evaluation board schematic, the series resistor is 5Kohms.
Can you provide the max current the STAT pin can sink so we can adjust also the LED intensity?
I am looking into it and will get back to you next week.
Thanks,
Mike Emanuel
Hello,
According to the datasheet, the STAT output low saturation voltage is 0.5 V maximum and is tested at 5 mA. That is the test condition in the datasheet and please adjust your resistor accordingly.
Thanks,
Mike Emanuel
