LM74610-Q1: USB reverse polarity protection for magnetic POGO charging connector

Part Number: LM74610-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-01253, LM66100

I'm designing a wearable &I've to provide a magnetic charging connection that supports data transfer as well. There's a lot of space constraints.

I'm planning to use a magnetic POGO pin connector for USB charging & data transfer (https://www.hyte.pro/product/m411h.html). There's a compatible USB cable that connects to a laptop or adapter(https://www.hyte.pro/product/m511.html) so there's no need to invest money in customization of compatible cables or cases.

Even though this connector rejects reverse polarity by repelling the poles, I'm concerned about what if the user forcefully pushes the cable? There's also another connector in their portfolio that doesn't support anti-reverse connection & that's kinda cheap.

I was thinking to provide NFET protection using LM74610-Q1(TIDA-01253) for VBUS & ground reverse protection but then I thought about whether there's any method to work even during reverse connection?

If you know any application circuitry that supports reverse connection on USB then please share it with me, it'll be very helpful. Otherwise, Is LM74610 a nice option to integrate or anything else that has an even smaller footprint?
