ISO5451: RST reset pull up resistor value

Dear Teams,

My customer is asking what is the resistor value on the internal RST pin? The reason they are asking is because they have a reset signal with maximum output current capability 50mA. They are wondering whether it can successfully apply a low pulse to reset the fault latch?

The resistor draws 100 uA as seen in the datasheet:

50 mA is more than enough current.

Could I think that it might not working properly if the reset signal has more than 100uA current?

Hi Don,

Based on datasheet, the IIL low-level input leakage current is -100uA. The VCC=5V if assumed, and the RST pin is 0V. Then the typical value of pull-up resistor should be (5-0)V/100uA=50Kohm. Am I right?
