EV2400: EV2400 Updater not working

Hello,

I am trying to update my EV2400 box from firmware 0.18 to 0.32. I am using Windows 10 64 bit. Battery Management Studio 1.3.101 works correctly so I think the EV2400 is recognized correctly by Windows. I unpacked the updater files to the folder c:\ti\EV2400Updater-0.32 and started EV2400_Updater_v0032.exe in a console window. It does not work and immediately returns the message on my german system "Zugriff verweigert" which means "access denied". Executing the the program in compatibility mode ("Windows 7") or with administrator rights does not change anything. Did you ever also see this problem or do you possibly have some tips for me?

    Hi Markus,

    When you ran the installer, did you select "Run as Administrator"? I assume you have only one EV2400 connected to the PC? 

    I have not seen this issue before - I just tested it to make sure it works on my PC. Sometimes typing '-s' after the command is needed, but I am not sure if it will help with this specific error. It might be good to try a different PC as well.

    Hello Matt,
    thank you very much for your help! As it did not work with my Windows 10 laptop, I tried it with another desktop machine in the company, but the result was the same but finally the update worked with my home computer.
