TPS92613-Q1: TPS92613 maximum current capability

Hello TI Team,

Hope all are safe.

In TPS92613 datasheet, It was specified that maximum current capability of the device is 600mA. but in graph reference it was specified upto 300mA only. Need to know maximum current carrying capacity of the device at Typical input voltage = 12V with DC(100% PWM). please reply as earlier as possible.

Hello TI Team,

Our design case as per below

1. Max of 500mA

VIN = 12V nom

PWM = 100%

LED current = 500mA max

2. Max of 250mA

VIN = 12V nom

PWM = 100%

LED current = 250mA max

Hi Kanthavel, if thermal is not your concern, you only mind the ability of output current, i think 92613 can satisfy your need.

If you concern thermal condition, please offer the vf of load and the max ambinet temp you need.
