UCC27538: About built-in FET

Part Number: UCC27538

Hello,

I would like to ask you about the UCC27538 device.
(Question)
Is there any information on the on-resistance and parasitic diode of the built-in FET shown in the figure below?

Best regards,

  • Michinari -san,

    Thank you for reaching out!

    -------

Regarding the built-in FET on-resistances, they are specified in Section 8.5 of the datasheet:

Regarding information of the body diodes of the built-in FETs, there is no information specified in the datasheet.  If the information is needed, please follow up and we can look into it.  Otherwise, if I have answered your question, please press the green button.

    Thanks!

    Aaron Grgurich

  • Thank you for your reply.
Is there any data that can disclose the VF characteristics of the parasitic diode?

    I have additional questions.
Is there a maximum allowable loss for this IC?

    Best regards,

  • Michinari -san,

Regarding the data, sorry we cannot provide that on E2E.

    -------

The maximum allowable loss (max power dissipation) is dependent on many variables and can be calculated using Section "10.2.1.2.7 Power Dissipation" of the datasheet along with the thermal resistance specification.

    -------

I hope this answers your question!  If so, please press the green button; otherwise feel free to follow up.

    Thanks,

    Aaron Grgurich
