Hi team,
Why is this device fixed at 20A for the current limit?
Is there a standard that must be 20A or less?
Sincerely.
Kengo.

Hi Kengo,
I believe it's determined by internal device characteristics (bond wire, Rdson, electromigration effect etc.), but let me double check with system team to see if there are other reasons for this specific 20A limit.

Yichi
Hi Kengo,
It's confirmed by system team that 20A is determined by device internal characteristics, which is the max allowable current without damaging the device.

Yichi
Hi Kengo,
The 20A limit comes from the max current that can be passed based on the Rdson of the device, so the device will not be damaged by the large current. There's no industry standard of 20A we are using here.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Yichi
