BQ78350-R1: BQ78350-R1 using R2 FW: issues with pre-discharge circuit

Part Number: BQ78350-R1

Hi there, am working with a customer on this device. They implemented the Pre-Discharge circuit described in Figure 1 of https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluubm6/sluubm6.pdf?ts=1625613858953&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F. But there’s a problem where every time the system boots, the VCC is up before the GPIO_B can pull it low by the chip. This results the output gets enabled momentarily for about 50ms. This published solution isn't usable in practical applications and there is no way around it.  Wondering if we are missing anything on how to implement this correctly without turning on the output.
