TPS53622: Design/Simulation and EVB help

Dear Team,

I am planning to use Buck Controller TPS53622RSBR with the power stage of CSD97374Q4M or CSD97370Q5M for a dual-phase buck converter solution.

I am referring to https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP21872 as a sample design. Kindly let me know if this will work, I want the fast load transients, but the dual-phase has DCAP+ instead of the DCAP-3.

I cannot simulate of purchase this PMP21872. Can you help me with this as well?

Hello,

This reference design is good. TPS53622 requires a "smart" power stage with integrated current sensing, as it does not support DCR current sensing. I suggest to look at power stages like CSD95482, CSD95495 for this application.

This reference design is not sold as an evaluation kit. Do you have access to a license for Simplis ? If you have an NDA with TI (or are willing/able to sign one) we can provide a switching Simplis model for this device... you can send an email to vr@list.ti.com to get the process started

You may also look at TPS53681, or TPS53676 which do have evaluation kits available for purchase.
