Hello,

I design a DCDC Converter around LM5170 with 520W out power.
My design work correctly but I have thermal problem on my board. I try EVK with 500W out power and it work without Heatsink.
I hope can work without heatsink, just with a better PCB with more layer.
My board is 4 layer PCB with 70um copper outer layer and 35um copper inner layer.

I would add 4 layers more like LM5170_EVK but i would like to know the copper thickness of EVK PCB.
I don't find this informations on application note of EVK.

Where I can find this on?

    Hi Luc,

    Thank you for designing with the LM5170.  The EVM has 3 Oz copper on all eight layers to help dissipate the heat under full power without heatsink.  You may consider to use some heatsink to get the overall cost minimized.
