LM5068: questions about RS and CT

Hello,

My customer is using LM5068 in the current development design.
As they do not need an overcurrent protection in the circuit, RS is not placed and the SENSE pin is shorted to the VEE.
In this case, my customer thinks that the fault is no longer detected, and that the CT value only affects the initial start-up delay.
Q1: Is my customer understanding above is correct?
Q2:My customer does not care the initial start-up delay at all. If the answer to Q1 is "Yes", can the CT be unmounted? Or is there anything like a minimum capacity value?
Q3:In case of no CT is placed, how much is the start-up delay, 0us?
