TPS549D22: programming times

Part Number: TPS549D22

Dear team

The customer would like to know how many programming times can TPS549D22 support, could you help to recommend?

Many thanks

Denny

  • Hi Denny,

I apologize for any confusion, but could you please elaborate on what you mean by programming times if I am unable to answer the question in the following paragraph?

As far as programming the part goes, the PMBus interface supports 3 frequencies (100kHz, 400kHz, and 1 MHz). These are the frequencies and subsequent programming timings that the device supports.

  • Hi Alec

Sorry make you confusion. The customer means time number of times which be burned.

EX is asking the programming times/cycles TPS549D22 can support.

I mean maybe that TPS549D22’s NVM can only be written 5,000 cycles/times, then, that NVM will can’t be written any more.

EX wants to know this number of cycles.

Does the memory register have a limit on the number of cycle it can be burned?

    Many thanks

    Denny

  • Hi Denny,

There is no limitation to the number of times the NVM of the device can be reprogrammed.
