Hello,

Can I have qualification report of TL431LIBQDBZRQ1?

It is not available for now from the link below:

www.ti.com/.../home

And I asked the report to TI CSC, however they gave me a qualification report of TL431LIBEDBZRQ1.

Does it cover also for TL431LIBQDBZRQ1?

    Hi Takao-san,

    The designation of "E" means the ambient temperature spans from -40C to +150C.  The "Q" designation means the ambient temperature spans from -40C to +125C.  The report that you received from TI CSC will work for the "Q" variant.

    Yes, I understand the difference of the temperature ranges.

    But if so, "Q" grade product do not necessarily bear the severe test conditions for "E" grade products. Am I wrong?

    If all the "Q" grade products can pass all the test items for "E", I can explain to our customers that the report of TL431LIBEDBZRQ1 is good also for TL431LIBQDBZRQ1

    Hi Takao-san,

    Your explanation is correct.  The "E" report shows that the parts can bear the severe test conditions which will include the "Q" grade conditions.  Therefore, the "Q" grade products will past the test items for "E" grade.
